Cancellations: A 20% non-refundable booking fee is required at time of booking; the balance will be due at the end of your lesson. Island Sol will accept cancellations up to 48 hours prior to lesson time. Lesson cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to start time and "no shows" will be charged the full amount of the lesson.

You will be required to sign a release of liability form before your lessons.

St. Thomas' premier water sports center is located on the island's windy East End at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton. Our Kiteboarding Program gets you riding quickly with safety boat support and P.A.S.A. certified instructors.Kiteboarding excursions are offered daily (conditions permitting). Departure time is approximately 10:30 am (your instructor will confirm); you can expect to return at 1:30 pm. Windsurfing and Sailing lessons are also available.

Learn the basics in a Marine Sanctuary that features a grassy shoal behind a reef, and smooth waist-deep water that is perfect for learning to kiteboard! This great spot is just around the corner on Cas Cay and the best way to get there is by boat! We meet at The Water Sports Center at The Ritz-Carlton at the time specified by your instructor. After a short briefing we load up one of our custom kiting skiffs and embark on our journey, 20-minutes round trip. Book now!

When you arrive, we will have one of our custom skiffs loaded up with gear suited for the wind conditions and your experience level, just bring swimwear and some snorkel gear (in case we have to wait for wind). Half the fun is in getting there, as we drive you through the Marine Sanctuary to Happy Island, which provides a secluded "sea grass" sandbar and ample space to practice your kiting and boarding skills.
